We’re All Crisis Actors Now

“It’s like Mad Magazine.  Mad Magazine stopped publishing, and they said that life was becoming so ridiculous that you couldn’t satire it anymore.”

-         Alan Watt on Road Warrior Radio with Chris Hinkley, RBN, 17 April 2009

Monty Python would have done a fantastic job with all the stuff that’s happening today, because you know something?  It’s beyond satire what’s coming out in the mainstream now.  Remember MAD Magazine?  They stopped producing it because they said that reality, reality was becoming so bizarre you couldn’t satirize it anymore.  We are LIVING in the satire… and people think it’s normal.”

-         Alan Watt “Cutting Through the Matrix”, RBN, 30 August 2010

The Onion won a bid for Infowars on Thursday, 14 November.  Fresh out of prison, Steve Brannon conducted an interview with the newly shorn Alex Jones.  Using Joe Rogan’s barber now?  Together, they watched as the Infowars site was taken offline.  “Force them to cut the power ... Let’s get the camera on them,” Bannon said. “Put the freaking camera on them. … Let’s see the polish on those jackboots. … They’re nothing but gestapo. It’s the administrative state and the deep state gestapo.”

For a few hours, the site was down, and Jones talked of his new backers for Alex Jones Network.  But now the Infowars site is back up and the bankruptcy judge has halted the sale to The Onion over concerns about the lack of transparency in the bidding process.

It’s a soap opera that slowly drags on.  Will she?  Won’t she?

According to Mother Jones (a ‘progressive’ magazine), “For reasons that no one has yet explained, attorneys for X, formerly known as Twitter, the social media giant now owned by Elon Musk, entered an appearance during the hearing and asked to be included on any future communications about the case.”

A defamation lawsuit was filed against Jones by the families of the Sandy Hook shooting victims of statements made by Alex Jones over several years, about the shooting.  These are some things Jones reportedly said:

  “Staged”

“manufactured”

 “a cover-up”

giant hoax”

the whole thing was fake”

Almost $1.5 billion in damages was awarded to the families, resulting in Jones filing for bankruptcy.

For years, dissecting events has been the bread and butter of the alternative/patriot/truther media.  From the assassination of John F. Kennedy to the moon landing, to the Twin Towers, studying photographic evidence, comparing eyewitness testimony, looking for inconsistencies has led to cottage industries (and big business) of book publishing, speaker circuits, and niche experts.  Sandy Hook, the Boston Marathon bombing, the 7/7 London bombings, the Nashville school shooting, the Israel-Hamas war.  Just take any horrific event in recent history and add in the words ‘crisis actors’ and see where that takes you.

A crisis actor is a trained actor, or a volunteer who plays a disaster victim so that first responders such as police and firefighters can practice their response in preparation of a real event.

As an interesting aside, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) had a scheduled training exercise on September 11, 2001, to deploy fighter aircraft over the northeastern United States and conduct simultaneous military exercises and drills.  We are told that it was canceled following the attacks.  On July 7, 2005, a ‘fictional’ exercise of multiple bomb attacks on London’s underground was held, using crisis actors.  According to Global Research, “The fictional scenario was based on simultaneous bombs going off at exactly the same time at the underground stations where the real attacks were occurring.”

When we interact with what we know to be simulated realities, for example, by voting, and applauding theatre whose players are narcissists and psychopaths, we have become crisis actors.  We are both the mock and real victims of The Neverending Story.

Coming to the realization that we’ve been duped our whole lives by an ancient system requires a bit of grit and resilience.  The grit comes with accepting that hard truth, and the resilience with fighting what may be a losing battle, but we fight it anyway, because it’s the right thing to do.  Maybe just showing up every day, free of illusions, is our armor.  Maybe removing ourselves from the base wasteland, populated with willing crisis actors, and finally exiting this realm fully conscious of the farce, is our victory.

Let it not be said of me, “It was the salmon mousse.”
