Urbanization, Affluence, and Education of Women is the Death Knell of Humanity;

“No Further Inquiry Necessary,” said Experts, as Fertility Rates Fell Rapidly

The book, published in 2019, Empty Planet: The Shock of Global Population Decline by Darrell Bricker and John Ibbitson, explains that the UN’s prediction of the planetary population of humans becoming 11.2 billion by the year 2100 is most likely wrong. Far more likely, they say, the world’s population will stabilize mid-century and then start declining all the way down to 7-8 billion people, which is what the world population approximately is right now, by 2100. As for why they think the UN’s projections on population are wrong, Bricker and Ibbitson explain that the main problem is that the U.N. is assuming that the fertility rates of developing countries will fall at around the same rate that the developed countries’ fertility rates fell. The following is a quote from page 45:

The UNPD’s [United Nations Population Division] projections rest on the assumption that the rate of fertility decline is constant between countries and regions, that Country A will always mimic country B. Psychologists and financial analysts call this assumption “recency bias,” the belief that, because things have gone a certain way in the past, they are bound to go the same way in the future. Recency bias is why so many stock brokers ignore the warning signs of an approaching bear market.

Past is usually prologue, but with statistical projections, sometimes it isn’t. Things change. What was important in the past may not matter as much in the future, and what was insignificant before can become a big deal. For example, what happens if a trend that took a certain amount of time before, such as declining fertility brought on by urbanization and the empowerment of women, begins to accelerate? What if something that once took forty years now only takes twenty?

One such example of a developing country’s fertility rate falling at a much faster rate than the fertility rate of the developed world is the Philippines. On page 52, Bricker and Ibbitson state “In 1965, the Filipino fertility rate was seven. Today it’s three, and falling at a rate of about half a baby every five years. Half a baby every five years!”  In contrast with the Philippines, Bricker and Ibbitson on page 20 explain that, “In the U.S., for example, white women (there is no available data on African American or Native American women) gave birth to, on average, seven children in the early 1800s. By 1850 the average was 5.4. By 1900, it was 3.6. Over the course of the nineteenth century, the fertility rate in the United States fell by nearly half.” So, in about half the time it took the fertility rate of the United States to fall by nearly half, the fertility rate of the Philippines has fallen by over half.

Furthermore, Bricker and Ibbitson are not the only ones making these sorts of observations, as a June 5, 2022 article in The Epoch Times, Demographers Warn of Impending Population Collapse by Kevin Stocklin, points out:

In August 2021, the U.N. declared a “code red for humanity” over climate change and overpopulation, and analysts at investment bank Morgan Stanley stated that “the movement to not have children owing to fears over climate change is growing.” However, a demographic study funded by the Gates Foundation and published in the Lancet, a medical journal, paints a much different picture. This study, conducted by researchers at the University of Washington, predicts that the global human population will peak at 9.7 billion within several decades, and then start to decline. “Once global population decline begins,” the authors write, “it will probably continue inexorably.”

The statement that “once global population decline begins it will probably continue inexorably” is also concurred with by Bricker and Ibbitson. They explain on page 80 of their book:

Consider: More than a quarter of all Japanese alive today are seniors, making Japan the oldest society on earth. There are more forty-year-old women than there are thirty-year-old women, who outnumber twenty-year-old women. That’s what makes population decline so implacable; once it sets in, it’s virtually impossible to stop, because every year there are fewer women of child-bearing age than there were the year before. Even more implacable is the change in mindset that accompanies low fertility. Demographers refer to that mindset as the “low-fertility trap.” If a society experiences a generation or more of fertility below the rate of 1.5, goes this theory, then that rate becomes the new normal, a normal that’s almost impossible to change. As Sarah Harper of Oxford University describes it, “Employment patterns change, childcare and schools are reduced, and there is a shift from a family/child oriented society to an individualistic society, with children part of individual fulfillment and well-being.” Having a child, for a Japanese couple- or a South Korean couple, or a German couple, or a Canadian couple- is no longer an obligation to family and clan, to society, to God. It is a way for that couple to express themselves and to experience life: infinitely more important than the mid-century modern look they choose for the living room, or those two weeks they spent in the Costa Rican jungle, or that amazing- if rather insecure and underpaid- new job in graphic design he just landed, but part of that continuum nonetheless. Does this sound like anyone you know?

But, why is the fertility rate decreasing so much across the world that the world population will start declining mid-century? The explanation that Bricker and Ibbitson and many demographers give us is this: because of increasing urbanization and education of women. For example, Elina Pradhan, a researcher at the World Bank, says, “In a nutshell, data show that the higher the level of a woman’s educational attainment, the fewer children she is likely to bear.” Bricker and Ibbitson also cite on page 46 of their book Wolfgang Lutz, a demography professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, as saying, “The brain is the most important reproductive organ. Once a woman is socialized to have an education and a career, she is socialized to have a smaller family. There’s no going back.” Who knew that educating women was so deadly to humanity? In fact, according to Bricker and Ibbitson on page 6 of Empty Planet:

Though governments have sometimes been able to increase the number of children couples are willing to have through generous child care payments and other supports, they have never managed to bring fertility back up to the replacement level of, on average, 2.1 children per woman needed to sustain a population. Besides, such programs are extremely expensive and tend to be cut back during economic downturns. And it is arguably unethical for a government to try to convince a couple to have a child that they would otherwise not have had.

We are to believe that the same governments who have no qualms about spending billions upon billions of dollars (in a time of great economic downturn and turmoil because of the lockdowns) on so-called Covid-19 “vaccines” and strongly pressuring if not outright coercing billions of people into taking these so-called “vaccines” that had no long term safety studies (nor is there any legal liability on the part of the companies who manufacture these so-called “vaccines” for any adverse effects these products may have on people) consider it too expensive and unethical to convince people to reproduce enough to sustain the human population of their dominions.

Curiously absent from the analysis of Bricker and Ibbitson and other demographers is the increasing infertility trend over the last several decades. The BBC Horizon documentary that Alan Watt has mentioned and linked to many times, Assault on the Male, discussed this issue back in 1996. Alan Watt has linked to other things discussing the plummeting of the male fertility, including a February 21, 2021 New York Post article by Susan Cahalan titled Why more men are suffering from infertility than ever before. As for the reason why such an important trend receives so little attention? Because it is meant to happen, for we have been informed by Aldous Huxley (see the first chapter of Brave New World Revisited), Prince Phillip, Paul Ehrlich, et al. that there are too many of us in the world and drastic action must be taken to curb overpopulation. In fact, according to Bertrand Russell in his book The Scientific Outlook, originally published in 1931:

I think, therefore, that there is hardly any limit to the departures from traditional sentiment which science may introduce into the question of reproduction. If the simultaneous regulation of quantity and quality is taken seriously in the future, we may expect that in each generation some 25 per cent. of women and some 5 per cent. of men will be selected to be the parents of the next generation, while the remainder of the population will be sterilized, which will in no way interfere with their sexual pleasures, but will merely render these pleasures destitute of social importance.

An article from Dr. Mercola from October 5, 2022 titled COVID jab mRNA Detected in Human Breastmilk helps fill in some particular details of how this massive sterilization scheme is being accomplished:

Walensky also continues to cling to the claim that the COVID shots have no adverse effects on fertility, even though real-world data from around the world are screaming that something has gone terribly wrong. Birth rates have plummeted since the rollout of the shots, raising alarm across the world.

In Germany, birth rates were 10% below the annual norm during the first quarter of 2022. Sweden was a 14% drop that same quarter. According to Gunnar Anderson, a Swedish professor in demographics at Stockholm University, “We have never seen anything like this before, that the bottom just falls out in just one quarter.”

Between January and April 2022, Switzerland’s birth rate was 15% lower than expected, the U.K.’s was down by 10% and Taiwan’s was down 23%. Hungary saw a 20% drop in birth rate during January 2022, compared to January 2021.

But, will merely sterilizing us be fast enough to satisfy the elite? Evidently not, see the September 6, 2022 article from The Epoch Times titled Excess Mortality Doubled for Americans Aged 35 to 44: Edward Dowd on New Society of Actuaries Data by Jan Jekielek.

The depopulation agenda is just one part of a wider agenda to perfect that which was left imperfect, according to the elite. Ultimately, the elite’s desire to create a new humanity of “purpose made people” rather than the giant mass of “useless eaters” that humanity largely consists of right now is being accomplished at a pace that is unthinkable for most people. Indeed, one of the main reasons why so many demographers neglect to mention the lowering of the sperm count of men in recent decades is because to admit that phenomenon is happening on so wide a scale and yet nothing is done about it strongly indicates that those who run the governments do not have the general public’s best interest at heart.

Alan Watt discusses this purpose made people agenda in today’s redux, which is titled Servants of the Future: New Types of Purpose-Made Human Beings and the audio was taken from the talk he gave standing in for Michael Herzog on “American Awakening” on July 20, 2007:

…you have the Twin Towers, a very occultic symbol because the Twin Towers represent the destruction of the old man and woman; the Jachin and Boaz of the occult and the lower Freemasonry. The old man is to be done away with, you see, and all women too, as they bring in a new science of genetics to create the new types that will be their servants of the future. New types of purpose-made human beings which they've written about in the lower science magazines; and by that, I mean the ones you buy on the shelves in bookstores. They've told us that the ideal design -- the real meaning of ID; the Ideal Design, the purpose-made human will be very efficient and could probably work for days without end. A kind of Golem for those who understand the Kabbalah. A Golem is an artificial slave created by a form of magic, which is just science; and that is the great agenda for the future.

A listener sent a video of Richard Medhurst discussing Putin’s Annexation Speech for the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia. They said they agreed with him, and I do agree with a lot of his points as well. However, one caveat I will add, when it is said that the West is in decline, there must be no mistake that it is the general public, the people who were often largely unaware and certainly weren’t consulted before the atrocities of colonialism or the dropping of the atomic bombs on Japan or the usage of depleted uranium in Iraq were perpetrated, of the West that is in decline. Those who run the West, naturally being those who run China and Russia as well (it is a global elite that rules the world, not a national one), are living in luxury unimaginable to rulers of previous eras.
